Stand to Win 10K a Week with +more

Terms and Conditions of the “Stand to Win 10K a Week with +more” Competition

  1. The name of the competition is “Stand to Win 10K a Week with +more” (“the Competition”).
  2. The promoter of the Competition is Plusmore, a division of Pepkor Trading (Pty) Ltd (“the Promoter”).
  3. The Competition will run from Monday, 5 October 2026 to Wednesday, 27 January 2027 (both days inclusive) (“Competition Period”).
  4. To be eligible to enter the Competition a person must –
    1. 4.1.  be a South African citizen (in possession of a valid South African ID book or card) or resident (in possession of a valid South African permanent residency permit);
    2. 4.2.  have a valid South African bank account; and
    3. 4.3.  be a +more rewards member; OR
    4. 4.4.  join +more rewards during the Competition Period.
  5. Any person who meets the eligibility requirements in clause 4 above and who scans their +more rewards card at the point of sale when purchasing from any participating store during the Competition Period, will automatically be entered into the Competition (“Participants”).
  6. Participants will receive 1 (one) entry every time they scan their +more rewards card.
  7. Participants stand a chance to be 1 (one) of 17 (seventeen) winners to win R10 000 each.
  8. Entry is free and Participants can enter the Competition multiple times, but may only win 1 (one) prize in the Competition during the Competition Period.
  9. Participants will only be included in the weekly draw if they scanned their +more rewards card, at any participating store, during the previous week, and will not be included in any subsequent draw unless they scan their +more rewards card during a subsequent period.
  10. For purposes of clause 9 above, the weeks will be divided into 17 (seventeen) weekly promotional periods and 1 (one) winner will be drawn in respect of each weekly promotional period. The draw for each weekly promotional period will take place on or before the applicable date (“Draw Date”) as set out in the table below:

  11. One weekly winner and 19 (nineteen) back-up winners (“back-up winners”) will be drawn for each week, by latest on the Draw Date as indicated in clause 10 above, by way of a computer operated draw.
  12. Back-up winners shall only be eligible to receive the prize if the winner, or any subsequent back-up winner as the case may be, forfeits the prize for any reason whatsoever, and shall not have any right to the prize by virtue of having been drawn as a back-up winner. Back-up winners will become eligible for the prize in the chronological order in which they were selected during the winner selection process as referred to in clause 11 above.
  13. The Promoter will inform the winner that they have won by way of a phone call to the winner’s cell phone number linked to the winner’s +more profile, within 5 (five) business days of the Draw Date.
  14. The Promoter will endeavour to contact a winner at least once a day, for 3 (three) consecutive business days (excluding Saturday, Sunday or a recognised public holiday in the Republic of South Africa) after they have won. If a winner cannot be contacted or does not respond during this period for whatever reason, including technical problems, the prize will be forfeited by that winner and the Promoter shall select a new winner from the back-up winners. A winner who has forfeited the prize due to the inability of the Promoter to establish contact with the winner shall have no claim against the Promoter.
  15. The provisions of clause 14 shall apply, with the necessary changes, to any back-up winner that becomes eligible for the prize.
  16. Winners will be required to provide the following:
    1. 16.1.  A copy of their ID document and/or permanent residency permit; and
    2. 16.2.  Proof of banking details for the purpose of EFT payment of their prize.
  17. It shall be the responsibility of the winner to ensure that all banking details submitted for EFT payment are correct. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or misdirected payment arising from incorrect, incomplete or inaccurate banking details provided by a winner.
  18. Payment of the prize will be made to the winner within 5 (five) business days after having received the requested documents as provided for in clause 16 above.
  19. By entering the Competition and/or accepting any prize (if a winner), Participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  20. The Promoter reserves the right to exclude a Participant from this Competition or to withhold payment of a prize to a winner should the Promoter become aware that a Participant is:
    1. 20.1.  a director, business partner (in relation to the Competition), employee, agent or consultant of the Pepkor group of companies, its affiliates/divisions or subsidiaries or any other person who supplies goods or services in connection with the Competition; or
    2. 20.2.  a spouse, life partner, parent, child or sibling, immediate family member, business partner or associate of the persons specified in clause 20.1 above.
  21. All prizes in the Competition are non-transferable.
  22. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse the payment of a prize to any winner, regardless of the successful entry into the Competition, who it decides (in its sole discretion) has violated the terms and conditions of this Competition, or who has participated herein using suspected fraudulent means or dishonest information or who enters using false information by robotic, automated or like means.
  23. The Promoter does not accept responsibility or liability for any loss or damage and will also not be responsible or liable for any further expenses or fees required for the purpose of using, applying, participating or enjoying the prize won in this Competition unless otherwise stated in the Competition terms and conditions.
  24. The Promoter reserves the right to vary, suspend, postpone or terminate the Competition and any prizes, or any aspect thereof, for any reasons whatsoever and without notice. In such event, you hereby waive any rights or expectations which you may have against the Promoter and acknowledge that you will not have any recourse or claim of any nature against the Promoter.
